We used Lorraine and her team on the 20th of July for our wedding at the Barn at Barra Castle and they were absolutely brilliant from start to finish!! Lorraine is a genuinely nice person and will do anything she can to help, nothing is too much hassle. We were actually let down by another catering company and were very wary but Lorraine was so kind and understanding she filled us with confidence straight away. We were provided with a full tasting of our menu selections before even deciding to go with them and the chef went out of his way to cook up some extra chicken nuggets for our daughter (which she loved). Lorraine was always responsive to emails and met with us at our venue the week before the wedding to go through things. On the day the extra little things that they helped with like setting up favours , moving furniture and keeping the place tidy was superb. Extremely professional at all times and the staff were so nice ! Everyone LOVED the food, it was so tasty and well presented. Cannot thank you (Lorraine) and the team enough for helping to make our day extra special. I would recommend you a million times over !

Thanks very much to Lorraine and the team who provided the excellent barbecue for my daughters after wedding brunch. The team arrived with no fuss set up and provided an excellent selection of food. Everyone in the team was so friendly and helpful. All the guests commented on the excellent selection of food, Lorraine even passed on recipe tips to the guests ? Lynn and myself will have absolutely no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to anyone who is looking for quality food served by a superb friendly company. 10 out of 10 from Team Harkin.

Recently got married in St Andrews. Absolutely would recommend Thistle Catering to anyone planning an event. Lorraine was brilliant and executed exactly what we wanted.
