6th June 2025 | Gordon Castle, Scotland
Gordon Castle in Moray is a historic Highland estate, renowned for its beautifully restored Walled Garden—one of the largest in Britain. Surrounded by rich countryside and steeped in 18th-century charm, it offers a peaceful escape with luxury, heritage, and nature intertwined.
It was the kind of day you dream about when planning a Scottish summer wedding — sun-dappled gardens, flowing champagne, and the unmistakable feeling of love in the air.
On the 6th of June 2025, Adele and Stewart tied the knot in the breathtaking gardens of Gordon Castle, surrounded by 100 of their closest friends and family. From the moment guests arrived to the final toast the next day, every detail reflected warmth, elegance, and effortless celebration.
Garden Ceremony with a Storybook Backdrop
Set among blooming flowers and under open skies, Adele and Stewart exchanged their vows in the castle’s perfectly manicured gardens. The ceremony was heartfelt and personal, with laughter, a few happy tears, and an undeniable sense of joy.
Cocktails in the Orangery & a Champagne Tower Moment
After the “I dos,” guests made their way to the stunning Orangery Room for cocktails, where a sumptuous champagne tower became the show-stopping centrepiece of the reception. Bubbly flowed freely as everyone toasted to the newlyweds, mingling in the warm afternoon glow.
Signature cocktails including an expresso martini added a modern touch to the timeless setting.
Canapés That Stole the Show
Before dinner, guests were treated to an array of beautiful canapés, served with flair and creativity:
- Tempura Prawns with Marie Rose Sauce Dip — elegantly presented in shot glasses
- Sticky Petit Sausages, glazed to perfection
- Pesto Vegetable Bruschetta
- Petit Cheese & Chilli Jam Toasties –
Each bite offered a burst of flavour — playful yet refined, just like the couple themselves.
A Feast Fit for a Castle
Dinner was a true celebration of Scottish hospitality and comfort, elevated with flair:
Starter
- Traditional Chicken Scotch Broth, served with homemade breads and rich butters

As the sun dipped behind the castle walls, the celebration continued into the night with dancing, laughter, and heartfelt speeches.
