A September Celebration to Remember | Megan & Mark’s Wedding at Netherdale House
On the 13th of September 2025, we had the absolute pleasure of catering the beautiful wedding of Megan and Mark at the stunning Netherdale House, Turriff.
Set on the banks of the River Deveron, this elegant Georgian mansion offered a timeless backdrop for their big day. With its Hooley Barn for dancing and the atmospheric Sitooterie Bar and Patio, the venue truly captured the magic of a modern countryside wedding.
From the first bite to the final forkful, every element of the menu was crafted with love, flavour, and celebration in mind.
Guests were welcomed with a beautifully curated grazing table that included:
A perfect blend of international and Scottish flavours to kick off the celebration.
Slow Cooked Beef Cheek, served with smoked butter mash and a vibrant pea & pancetta fricassee – rich, tender and full of soul.
Seared Chicken, paired with spicy chorizo and a velvety creamy leek sauce – comforting and indulgent.
Sticky Toffee Pudding, with butterscotch sauce and caramel ice cream – a proper crowd-pleaser.
Summer Berry Pavlova, with fresh berries, raspberry compote, chantilly cream and vanilla ice cream – light, sweet and stunning.
Just as the guests were settling after their main courses, a surprise twist lit up the room – The Singing Waiters! Bursting into song, they had everyone on their feet in no time, conga lines winding their way through the dining room. It was a moment of pure joy that we won’t soon forget.
To keep everyone fuelled for a night of dancing, we rolled out a late-night chip station featuring:
