On a crisp Highland day in late September, Ryan and Eve tied the knot in one of Scotland’s most enchanting venues — Aswanley, a Victorian barn set within the magical grounds of a 17th-century fortified house in the heart of the Highlands.

The couple exchanged vows in the stunning barn at Aswanley, followed by a beautiful photo shoot just outside the main barn doors — a picture-perfect setting with timeless charm.

The Menu

As a local couple with a love for the outdoors and fishing, their wedding menu celebrated seasonal, local ingredients with a few personal touches.

Canapé Reception

Guests were welcomed with a selection of handcrafted canapés, including:

• Haggis bon bons with mustard mayo
• Handmade petit burgers
• Chicken satay skewers
• Roast vegetable & pesto bruschetta with butternut squash
• BBQ pulled pork sliders

Starters

• Peterhead smoked haddock fishcake with creamy leek and dill sauce

• Roast beef with seasonal veg and roasting jus

Dinner was made even more memorable with a special performance of S.O.S. Singing Waiters — featuring a soprano and a singing chef!

• Pavlova with berry compote, chantilly cream, and delicate meringue kisses
